Step 1
Install the following according to Magento requirements
- Apache2
- Php extension
- Database engine – MySQL
- Composer
- Create a database for Magento for eg: magento2
Step 2
Download the Magento pack
Extract to a folder in the root directory
Step3
Run the following commands from the Magento root directory.
chmod 777 -R pub/
chmod 777 -R var/
chmod 777 -R app/etc/
chmod 777 -R generated/
Step4
Access the folder from localhost and complete the setup.
