Expanding Outlets, Menya Musashi Bukotsu Opens in Bekasi, Menya Musashi Bukotsu announced the opening of its second outlet in Indonesia after the first one in Kota Kasablanka Mall, South Jakarta. This time, the ramen restaurant is coming to BCBD Summarecon Bekasi starting April 5, 2023.
Menya Musashi Bukotsu presents a modern ramen concept with classic Japanese and fusion creations. The menus served are no pork, no lard, and no alcohol.
Thus, it is suitable to be enjoyed with family, friends and colleagues. For information, this restaurant takes inspiration from the name of the legendary Japanese Samurai, Miyamoto Musashi who was known for his ‘double sword style’.
The restaurant has been serving ramen that is popular among ramen fans in Japan and abroad, since it first opened in Tokyo in 1996. In 2015, the restaurant won the Ramen Revolution award as the Number 1 Favorite Ramen.
“With our new outlet in Bekasi, Menya Musashi Bukotsu has now opened more than 30 branches around the world. Including Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Hawaii, Ukraine, Malaysia, and Indonesia,” said Mega Nurdiansyah, Brand Manager of Menya Musashi Bukotsu.
This restaurant provides classic ramen with three soup options. Starting from original, black (garlic), and red or spicy.
There are also various topping options such as chicken teriyaki, chicken katsu, ebi furai, and ebi katsu. Not only providing classic ramen, Menya Musashi Bukotsu also has a signature ramen that is their mainstay.
There is the Jumbo Prawn Truffle Soup, a ramen with truffle soup and savory jumbo prawns. Then, Niku Mala Ramen, ramen with mala soup and topped with meat pieces.
It has a spicy flavor and is fragrant with szechuan pepper. Finally, the Yuzu Soup Smoked Duck, a ramen with white soup mixed with yuzu citrus and topped with pieces of smoked duck.

Complementing the main menu, Menya Musashi Bukotsu also serves a wide selection of side dishes that customers can choose from. Starting from Truffle Mushroom Gyoza, Dokko Octopus, Tempura Moriawase, Chicken Salad, Tamago, Edamame, and many more.
The restaurant also offers an outlet concept with a minimalist contemporary Japanese interior design. Dominated by wooden shades and traditional touches.
There are two areas in this BCBD Summarecon Bekasi outlet, namely indoor and outdoor, providing a choice of comfortable atmosphere for visitors to enjoy the dishes offered.
“We are optimistic that we can continue to drive our expansion to various corners, starting with this expansion to the Bekasi area. We also plan to open new branches in the Jabodetabek area,” said Mega.
