Oddly enough, all blogging struggles are not being Helpful enough. Do not sprint like a headless chicken to serve from a frenzied energy. Being genuinely helpful is not in time but the mind. If you relax, slow down and calm down and be more helpful by publishing beneficial content meeting reader needs you will succeed nicely long-term. But being more helpful now precedes the success over the long haul. Anyone can write and publish one helpful blog post. Being more helpful by creating and connecting increases your skills, exposure and credibility to amplify success. Again guys; think over the long haul. Blogging is no sprint. Picture blogging being a slow marathon versus an intense sprint. Top bloggers BE more helpful for a bit well before reaching the top of their niche because good things require being generous, patient and persistent. Trust factors in to the success equation too. Authority bloggers trust in the process enough to see the journey through over a sustained time frame. Nothing happens overnight. All flows organically over a sustained time frame simply like any successful venture in life. Being increasingly helpful over the span of years challenges bloggers who intend to be a little helpful before expecting staggering blogging success. If you and I are honest with self, all bloggers pine at one time or another quick success in the form of fast traffic and quicker profits. Even fairly detached bloggers harbor tiny expectations for a quick traffic and income boost because ego rears its silly head here and there, along with even sillier, deluded expectations. I hardly expect quick riches but observe my ego attaching some to specific outcomes here and there, wishing to get a little bit more from the giving-helpfulness served through the content I create. In these moments I observe fear-attachments to be more helpful. In one moment you may fear not getting enough from being helpful. Feel fear. Release fear. Proceed to be more helpful not by force but by simply creating one more piece of content or by helping one other blogger with a retweet, Facebook share, genuine blog comment or mention via a backlink on your blog. Believe it or not, this is it; this is successful blogging. Be increasingly helpful to become increasingly successful. Blogging is no secret activity shrouded in cyber mystery. Keep helping people. Create one more piece of content to be more helpful and to edge into an even more successful direction. Being more helpful predicates more blogging success. One more blog post puts you out there, reaches a few more people, helps a few more folks and positions you to be more successful. Think of one more post being like an organic drip coffee, one drop at a time, manually applied. Here on the farm in rural NJ the homeowners employ an old-fashioned, manual drip coffee system manifesting the most delicious coffee. Boil a pitcher of water. Use a paper filter and funnel to slowly, patiently pour boiling water through the filter containing about 2 tablespoons of ground coffee. I spend 10 seconds pouring a tiny bit of coffee at a time, wait 1 minute for the coffee to organically drip courtesy of gravity, then pour for 10 seconds and wait for another minute. I engage the process for roughly 5 minutes. Even though I devote 5 minutes of my time to organic coffee manually dripped the quality of 1 drop flowing through more slowly than via machine, aided only by gravity, my pouring momentum and a slow, peaceful flow makes for an inspired cup of coffee whose flavor will knock your socks off. Blogging mirrors this manual drip coffee process if you be more helpful from a relaxed, peaceful, mindful energy.
