M&S Appoints New Head of Menswear Design

Marks & Spencer proudly announces the appointment of Callum Briggs as the new head of menswear design. Bringing with him valuable experience, Callum transitions from his previous role at Hugo Boss.

Briggs boasts a rich background, having served at Hugo Boss since 2021, most recently as the head of design and previously as a senior Menswear designer.

Before his tenure at Hugo Boss, he contributed his talents to Reiss from 2017 to 2020, Tom Ford from 2016 to 2017, and Belstaff from 2015 to 2016.

Commencing his role at M&S in June, Briggs will report directly to menswear director Mitch Hughes. Hughes, who returned to the company in January 2023 from Boohoo Group, eagerly anticipates Briggs’s arrival.

M&S’s clothing and home business has experienced robust sales growth in recent months, with sales climbing by 4.8% in the 13 weeks leading up to December 30, 2023. Notably, in October, M&S unveiled its inaugural standalone menswear campaign since 2015, marking a significant milestone for the company.

Hughes expressed enthusiasm about Briggs’s appointment, stating,
