Sushant Singh Rajput case: CBI tells Bombay HC it did not ‘leak information’ on death probe | Hindi Movie News

In the latest on the Sushant Singh Rajput case, the Central Bureau of Investigation told the Bombay High Court that it did not leak any information related to the probe to the media.

According to various media reports, Additional Solicitor General Anil Singh, representing the CBI, stated that of the central agencies probing the case, including the Enforcement Directorate and Narcotics Control Bureau, did not leak any information. He said, “We know our responsibilities and there is no question of leaking information by any of the agencies,”

The Bombay High Court is currently hearing out PIL’s filed in the attempt to stop the ‘media trials’ related to the ongoing investigation.

Ever since Sushant Singh Rajput passed away one June 14, there have been several controversies surrounding the death case, including the several unconfirmed theories floating on social media.

Meanwhile, the News Broadcasters Association on Saturday urged the government to immediately withdraw the CBI probe into alleged manipulation of Television Rating Points (TRP), saying the speed with which the investigation was transferred to the central agency overnight raises doubts about intentions.

In a statement, the News Broadcasters Association (NBA) expressed serious concern at “the open-ended FIR registered by the Uttar Pradesh Police against the media for alleged TRP manipulation”.
