Referred Pain

One of the major things that has come to light about the body is its interconnectedness. One example of this fact is the phenomenon of “referred pain,” or the manifestation of pain in one place in virtue of damage to another interconnected part of the body.

Though not referred pain, numbness in the toe is a close subject simply because it demonstrates something quite similar to pain – and that is numbness.
