TubeBuddy Tag Translator

What is the TubeBuddy Tag Translator tool

With the Tubebuddy Tag Translator tool, you can reach more people around the world and have your video get recommended as a Suggested Video next to foreign-language videos by YouTube.

This is achieved by translating your primary video tags into your target languages with the press of a button.

How to translate your video tags with TubeBuddy’s Tag Translator tool

Open up YouTube Studio and header over to the Content tab to open one of your videos with already existing tags. If you don’t have a video with video tags yet, have a look at the TubeBuddy Keyword Explorer tool first.

Scroll down to the Tags section and then a little further till you see the Tag Tools section.

Click on Translate.

You will see a list of all video tags in the left column and an empty column on the right.

Select your target language from the dropdown menu at the top, and the TubeBuddy Tag Translator will automatically translate each keyword one by one.

If you’re not 100% sure which languages you should select? Have a look at the graph of the top 5 languages spoken by your channel’s audience to help you decide which languages to focus on.

Please keep in mind that you are still limited to 500 characters in total for all your tags, so you might have to make some space to fit in your newly translated tags.

Optimizing your videos for international audiences

To reach an international audience, you also should translate your video title, description, and subtitles.

The TubeBuddy Auto Translator tool can help you with this.

Next steps

The TubeBuddy Tag Translator Tool is a great way to expand your reach beyond English-speaking countries.

It’s easy to use, and your videos will be more likely to be recommended next to foreign-language videos on YouTube.
