The Tubebuddy Sunset Videos tool lets you set a video’s Privacy to Private or Unlisted at a certain time in the future.
A video can also be removed from multiple playlists at the same time.
This can be very useful for seasonal promotional content that you only want to keep up for a short period of time.
For example, if you want to remove limited-time promotional videos, giveaway announcements that are now over, or simply to create FOMO by making your livestream replays available only for a very short period of time, this can be very useful.
It can also help you to retire outdated videos. Imagine, for a moment, that you had a YouTube channel on tax advice.
One of your most popular videos would explain how you can save taxes under a specific regulation, but only for the next 9 months, by which time the regulation will be changed.
In such a case, you might want to sunset your video with TubeBuddy to make sure that you don’t give anyone outdated and at that time wrong advice that could get people into trouble.

How to schedule the unpublishing of a video with TubeBuddy
TubeBuddy’s Sunset Video function makes it easy to unpublish videos at a specific date and time in the future.
Visit YouTube Studio, open the Content tab and hover your mouse over one of your video till the TubeBuddy icon appears. Click on it and then select Sunset Video under the Schedule section.
This will open up the following dialog.
You can choose between setting your video to Private or Unlisted, and if you want to remove your video from all or specific video playlists.
