A Canvas is a defined area in HTML5 in which Javascript commands can be used to draw. In this article we present an interesting alternative for Digital Signage Newsticker with the HTML5 element Canvas. Using canvas tickers brings advantages and disadvantages, which we will discuss in the following two articles.
