Facebook is rolling out new updates to its Stories which will enable you to share event in the stories section. This update will make it easier for you to invite your friends and families to the Facebook events you are attending.
At the beginning of this year, Facebook initiated testing event invites on stories. “People connect on Facebook in different ways, so we’re always exploring new ways to help people do that,” a Facebook spokesperson stated in a blog post. “We also know that people share in more visual ways, so we’re working to give people the tools they need to share the way they want. With this feature, they have the option to add their own flair, like stickers, to capture the attention of friends,” he added.
This statement clearly shows that the user will be allowed to add their flair, stickers, and more options to draw friends’ attention. The user can show the details of the event in the stories section, and the audience can respond to your event as “Interested’ or “Going’ squarely. This update will surely help to grab the audience attention.
Here is how the new update in stories works: When you go to the page of an event you’re interested in, you can click on “Share” option below the date and time section of the event. There you will have the option to share your event in the Facebook story directly. When your friends view your post, they can show their interest by tapping on the “Interested” button. Friends who viewed your story will also be able to click on the sticker to go to the event’s page if they want to explore the event.
