The design of your Website will directly influences your Leads. It will dictate how you get the Leads, what kinds of Leads and where you take your leads. So, before you start designing your website, you need to do a little research and a little work.
First, where is your Phone number? You want leads who travel to your website to contact you, right? And you want them to call, right? So your Phone Number should be right there in the header or artwork of the first thing that they see. By offering your phone number right from the beginning, you will have a greater chance of getting those eager to buy or sell contact you when the information is right there! People also like to talk to a real person and would rather NOT have to fill out a form and send it in and hope for a response. Also, if someone is reading your website information, they will have questions and they want answers right now. Because of mobile phones and the ability to access the internet immediately from anywhere, the prospect can get their information and make a phone call right away.
When designing a website, you will need to make sure that it works both on a regular computer or laptop AND on any mobile device. Your website will need a click to call phone number button and it needs to appear often. Make it easy for the prospect to call you at the moment of their question.
Just in case a question doesn’t rise up, near the phone number on your website, put a call to action. “Call Now”, “Deadline Offer”, “This won’t last!” are all quick statements that will fit right next to the number and the click to call button. You don’t need to put more than one call to action next to each phone number, but make it certain what you want them to do.
Next, you will need landing pages. These are pages that your prospect is going to come to from somewhere else. If they have been searching on Facebook or on Instagram and come across your recent photo that accompanies your article, you have an address on that posting that brings them back to a particular page. Three types of landing pages for you to consider are the testimonial page, the scheduling page and the seller page.
The testimonial landing page is full of your accomplishments and reviews of your business and testimonials from your customers. This is where you show off and shine! The more accolades and stories you can put on your testimonial page, the more the first time view is going to build trust with you and your business. Link this page with not only your click here to call button but also to your contact page where the prospect can sign up for emails, classes, seminars and any other information that you can send.
Next is the scheduling landing page. After you have warmed a prospect up on the testimonial page, you will now want to get their information so that you can call them. This page should have a box that a prospect can fill out with their contact information. Keep it simple with just a name, phone number and email address. If you add one more box that asks what time they would like you to call, this can up the chances that they will be there and will answer!
And finally the seller landing page. This page can feature a free home evaluation or a value report. It should be very simple and easy to navigate. More pictures and plain boxes with vital information inside each will allow the viewer to go to the information they are looking for. The purpose of the landing page should be for you to schedule an appointment and actually go to their house to evaluate it.
The design of your website will also impact the flow of traffic to the site. And then the design will decide how a visitor navigates the site. A welcome gate can help that flow. A welcome gate is a web page that greets visitors who type in your homepage and have never been to your website before. When someone visits your home page, the welcome gate page will pop up. And, it will only show up once for the that particular user. After that same user visits the site again, the normal first page of the site will appear.
