Announcing: Beamery 4.0

At Beamery, we’re dedicated to helping our customers create better relationships with talent.

In many cases, this comes down to better talent pipelining, engagement, and everything in between.

Today though, it’s about handling candidate data with care, and ensuring that you don’t lose trust that you’ve worked hard to gain. This is one of the driving forces behind Beamery 4.0, our latest product release.

Good data management and governance is a must in 2018, and not only because of the GDPR coming into force soon. Companies are more aware of their responsibility in safeguarding personal data, for both customers and candidates. We’ve built Beamery 4.0 with that responsibility in mind. We’re proud to release Beamery Comply, the first ever recruiting solution to offer an advanced compliance setup through automation, reporting and best-in-class candidate data management.

We also made sure that this latest release provides a better experience to our users. Enterprise software should be powerful and sophisticated, yes. But, like the best consumer software, it should also be personal, simple, and accessible. Beamery 4.0 is faster than ever before, and features an entirely redesigned interface to help users get where they need to go in a hurry.

The core of Beamery 4.0: Getting ready for GDPR

Beamery 4.0 brings with it a complete toolkit to deal with the requirements of the GDPR. With end-to-end consent management, companies can enforce the compliant capture and handling of data for both inbound and outbound (i.e. sourced) candidates.

One of the big hurdles of GDPR – or any other new regulation – is the difficulty in getting teams to adopt a new way of working. That’s why we’ve made it easy for users to generate consent links directly from the candidate profile or leverage specific consent request templates. There are also automated red flags that prevent recruiters from “re-adding” candidates that have opted out or have had their data anonymized. You can download our Beamery + GDPR document for more details about these features.

Beamery Comply helps companies add an extra layer of intelligence to these tasks, driving the entire opt-in process through automated workflows with consent loops, and giving talent leaders peace of mind when it comes to data governance.

Data anonymization and purges can also be arranged through automation. Rules can be created to run location-specific purges and to delete or anonymize data that has been in the system for a certain amount of time. In short, every potential issue that you could run into with the GDPR is tackled by Comply and Beamery 4.0.

Compliance and data governance

Beamery 4.0 allows organizations to bring greater rigidity to internal processes and workflows.

We’ve introduced field configuration options to capture equal opportunity and diversity data (e.g. EEO surveys) when candidates convert through Beamery Talent Network forms. New private fields allow companies to restrict such sensitive compliance data from being visible to users on the basis of their role.

Beamery 4.0 also comes with enhanced permissions options, and introduces a new Super Admin role. Sensitive data and integrations can be restricted to this new class of users, with other administrative functions, such as automation workflow creation, still being available to Admins.

Efficient workflows

We are always looking to reduce the overall number of clicks that a Beamey user makes on a typical day, so that they can do more in less time.

The new search functionalities in Beamery 4.0 make it easier to find the right candidates and move them to a pool or a vacancy. Users can now build more sophisticated combinations of search queries and filters to scour their database for relevant candidates.

Marketing workflows have also received a boost with the addition of more sophisticated automation rules to “Recipes”, one of Beamery’s recruitment marketing tools.
Companies can now set up more complex rules to drive engagement, such as:

“If a candidate’s email has been added in the past 24 hours, and they have never been contacted before, they should be moved to the following communication chain.”

This extended scope means that recruitment marketers can now tailor communication campaigns to the engagement and behavior of candidates, and not just to the information on their profile. The resulting candidate journey is dynamic and personalized to a much higher degree.

Performance and visual improvements

We believe that enterprise software should be more like the best consumer software—personal, simple, and accessible.

As our solution grows, and new modules and new functionalities are being added almost on a weekly basis, we want to take this opportunity to prioritize the user experience and improve the speed of the application.

With Beamery 4, we have completely redesigned the top navigation to make it more intuitive, future-proof by providing space to grow, and faster to load. Users will be able to navigate the system faster and more effectively, saving time at every point.

Jobvite and Beamery

Jobvite Integration enables new Prospects to be synced two-way and new Candidates from Jobvite to Beamery. Once synced, all updates for supported fields are synced two-way.
