The Economist Opens USD 25,000 MBA Scholarship Contest

 

Economist GMAT Tutor, the GMAT tutoring service of The Economist magazine, has opened a USD 25,000 MBA scholarship to a business school applicant who can use it towards tuition at any one of the schools participating in the contest.

The Brightest Minds annual contest offers the scholarship to an array of participating Business schools. In addition, five randomly selected contest entrants will receive a USD 25 Amazon gift card.

Last year’s winner, Jason Girourad scored higher than nearly 3,000 other contest entrants and wrote the best essay in a tie-breaker competition.

The partnering schools

The contest is open to anyone considering pursuing an MBA or EMBA. All you have to do is take the GMAT simulation test online. The deadline to enter is 13 December, 2019. The winner will be announced by 31 January, 2020. The winner may apply their USD 25,000 scholarship towards tuition at any of the following partnering business schools:

  • Alliance Manchester Business School (UK)
  • Amsterdam Business School (Netherlands)
  • China Europe International Business School (CEIBS)
  • Darden School of Business (US)
  • Emlyon Business School (France)
  • Lee Shau Kee School of Business and Administration, The Open University of Hong Kong (OUHK)
  • Management School, University of Liverpool (UK)
  • Nottingham Trent University (UK)
  • Rotterdam School of Management (Netherlands)
  • Schulich School of Business (Canada)
  • Vlerick Business School (Belgium)

Contest entrants must qualify under the Terms & Conditions.

The Economist GMAT Tutor

The Economist Gmat Tutor is an online GMAT prep course offered by The Economist Group.
