IE University is a private university, owned by Instituto de Empresa S.L. Its campuses are located in Segovia, Castile and León and Madrid, Community of Madrid (Spain).

IE University’s programs are run in English and Spanish, and are compliant with the terms of the European Higher Education Area (Bologna Process).

Application timeline

IE Business School offers a rolling admissions process. There are no submission deadlines.

To apply for IE Business School you will need to go through the following steps:

1. ONLINE APPLICATION FORM
candidates should complete the sections that appear in the online application form and must also upload the following documents

2. ONLINE ASSESSMENT
Once you have submitted your online application and paid the application fee, you will receive a link to answer three live questions, two in video format and one in written format. This way, our admissions team will be able to meet you virtually and evaluate your capacity to respond in real time

3. ENTRANCE EXAM
Students are required to take either the GMAT, GRE or IEGAT

4. PERSONAL INTERVIEW
You will have a personal interview (face-to-face or via Skype) with and Associate Director of the Admissions Team

5. ADMISSIONS COMMITTEE FINAL DECISION
After the interview, your entire application will be evaluated holistically by our Admissions Committee. This is the last step of your application and it will take roughly 1-3 weeks for the Admissions Committee to get back to you with a final decision. Admissions are valid for the intake you apply to and the following one

Documents

In order to apply to IE University, you need to present the following documents:

• Admission test results, if you took the SAT, ACT, CAS or LNAT (doesn’t apply to visiting students)
• High school academic records (or university if you are a transfer or visiting student)
• Letters of recommendation: one from your professor/tutor, and another from your Head of Studies/Dean
• Copy of your passport, I.D. or residence permit (NIE)
• A recent CV which includes your academic background, work experience and extracurricular activities
• A passport-sized photo. Additional documents: a portfolio of your work, diploma or prize which you feel will give us a better overview of you, your achievements and your interests.

Financing

In order to encourage women to continue on their path towards excellence, the IE Foundation, on behalf of its donors and IE Community, has an annual budget dedicated exclusively to women. Below are listed what are the scholarship options for women, and the deduction percentage.

IE WOMAN SCHOLARSHIP
• Amount of award: up to 25% of Tuition Fees.

WOMEN LEADERSHIP AWARD
• Amount of award: up to 40% of tuition fees.

IE WOMEN MENTORING PROGRAM
• Amount of award: 40% of tuition fees.

WOMEN IN STEM
• Amount of award: up to 30% of tuition fees.

WOMEN IN FINANCE
• Amount of award: up to 30% of tuition fees.

THE MIDDLE EAST & AFRICA SCHOLARSHIP
• Amount of award: up to 35% of tuition fees.

IE-FORTÉ MBA FELLOWSHIP
• Amount of award: variable, ranging from €10,000 to €20,000 towards tuition fees.

THE QUEEN RANIA SCHOLARSHIP FOR WOMEN BUSINESS LEADERS
• Amount of award: 40% of tuition fees.

THE IE-JOHN MONASH SCHOLARS’ AWARD
• Amount of award: 30% of tuition fees.

INSTITUTO LING SCHOLARSHIP
• Amount of award: 25% of tuition fees.

WOMEN IN REAL ESTATE
• Amount of award: up to 30% of tuition fees.
