‘How to thrive in a world of too much Busy’ Book Review

Author: Tony Crabbe

I wanted to share with you a quick Review of a Book I’ve just finished reading called ‘How to thrive in a world of too much Busy’ by Author Tony Crabbe. This book teaches you how to thrive in a world of too much ‘busy’. Tony references the term for the world of ‘too much busy’ in his book as ‘busyness’. These days’ people are so busy focusing on the urgent, rather than the important and with all the technology available to us its no wonder we are so busy all the time! It’s unsustainable, draining and not much fun. A great read with tips, hints and techniques to help you overcome your ‘busyness’. A thoroughly enjoyable read but don’t be surprised when you begin feeling guilty as Tony expertly defines his view on time wasters and procrastinators and you realise he’s probably talking about you!

Often we don’t realise how much we are missing out on because we focus on the things that are not important but when you’re so ‘busy’ it’s hard to tell one from the other. This book proves you can be more successful by focusing on the things that really matter. Tony summarises each of his chapters at the end to allow you review your learnings and put them into practice instantly.

In order to make sure your focusing on the things that matter most, write down your goals for the year, then review them at least monthly to make sure you’re working only on things that will allow you to achieve them and remember when defining your goals, they must be ‘SMART’ : Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic and Time based.

Happy Reading!
