LONE WORKER SAFETY Expo Is Aiming To Reduce Workplace Violence And Injuries

When people ask me why we have set up the annual LONE WORKER SAFETY Expo six years ago and why we do what we do my response is always the same… I say want to provide as much as up-to-date information as possible to reduce the risk of workplace violence… we also want to provide a platform again, where like-minded professionals can exchange valuable information and share their wealth of knowledge to improve the personal safety of those working alone.

This annual event takes place on Tuesday 24th November at London’s Olympic Conference Centre, and anyone interested to learn more about this subject matter is welcome to attend, Robert Kaiser states.

Several exhibitors have now confirmed their participation and willingness to help visitors to find out more what type of technology and Training can make a real difference in their safety.

Some of the UK’s leading experts and speakers are also currently planning to deliver passionate and extremely informative presentations, all with the same objective and desire to help.

Nicole Vazquez, Director of Worthwhile Training, will explain how to develop the most effective and operationally sensible Lone Worker policies.

Doug Melia, Managing Director of Safer Handling, will advise everyone on ‘physical confrontations’ and their appropriate responses.  His passionate and extremely knowledgeable input will once again be a great highlight of this conference.

Internationally respected Dr Tim Marsh BSc MSc PhD C.Psychol of RyderMarshSharman is set to enlighten the audience again when discussing the subject of behavioural safety and explain why people do what they do.

Mark Jenner, Managing Director of Assault Reduction International, is an expert in Conflict Management Training. His presentation will be of great importance, especially to all delegates currently looking into training on how to communicate with hostile and aggressive members of the public.

Walter Brennan, who worked for 25 years as Mental Health Specialist and Jonathan Fox, State Registered Paramedic with over 35 years of frontline experience, both will bring another extremely important perspective to the table, the perspective of the lone Worker him/herself.
