Dysfunction


Keep in mind that if your leadership team is dysfunctional, that Dysfunction does not trickle down—it cascades.  Leaders set the tone.  Factions at the top result in factions throughout an organization as employees struggle to align themselves with what they perceive as seats of power.  Struggles in the C-suite are replicated throughout an organization.  Power struggles are counterproductive in many ways. At their worst, they are a distraction as employees replace work with strategizing how to benefit from alliances and protect themselves from “enemies.”
