Meet Our Teammate!

We are excited to chat with Elizabeth Johnson, our awesome Senior Customer Success Manager! Since the very beginning of her time at UpKeep, Elizabeth has been running full speed to help our customers reach their goals! On top of managing accounts like a boss, Elizabeth brings so much joy to our team — always sending us the cutest pictures of her cat fur children and the amazing meals she makes for lunch! We are so grateful to have her on the team! Here is her interview with our CEO, Ryan!


Ryan: Hey Elizabeth! Could you start us off by sharing what your role is at UpKeep, and some of your responsibilities?

Elizabeth: I am a Senior Customer Success Manager! I serve as the main point of contact for a lot of our customers once they get UpKeep up and running. I do all of the initial team training and I help my clients see if they are on track to meet goals and metrics they set for themselves. Mainly, I make sure that they have all of the tools and resources they need to be successful using UpKeep.

Ryan: How did you find out about UpKeep? And, what made you want to join the team? 

Elizabeth: I’m originally from Los Angeles, where we’re based, and I wanted to move back home from where I was living at the time. So, I was surfing LinkedIn for a new job in the area and found UpKeep! It seemed like a cool company so I applied, but what really cemented my interest in the company and ultimately why I signed was the team! From Tyler, our recruiter, being so open and communicative through the interview process to meeting everyone for my in-person interview, it seemed like a genuinely fun place to work! And it is!

Ryan: That’s awesome to hear! Currently, what’s a project you’ve been working on that you’re really proud of? Or, maybe a project you’ve already completed that you still think about?

Elizabeth: The CS department is going through some process changes right now to make everything as seamless as possible for our customers and it has been really fun to be working with everyone on my team to develop these changes! The highlight of all of the projects though is definitely working collaboratively with my team. They’re amazing!

Ryan: I’m really excited for these changes too! What’s something you love about UpKeep?

Elizabeth: I love how close everyone is! We have a million clubs to join which have been active even throughout the work from home period. I’m constantly learning from everyone both personally and professionally. Our Technical Project Manager Justin even gave me some of his sourdough starter so I can make my own bread!

Ryan: Well, Elizabeth, I’m really stoked you are a part of this team! Thank you so much for everything you do!
