"I always had this craze for dogs. Especially puppies! When I was little, my pet dog, Bruno, died due to ill health. He was my best friend and my everything. I was very depressed after his demise. I never had another pet after Bruno died.

We moved to Mumbai from Chennai in 2008. I started working in an MNC. I met Akshay few months after moving to Mumbai. He was my new neighbour’s cousin. We met at my neighbour’s house-warming party.
We exchanged numbers and stayed in touch. As time passed by, we grew closer to each other and before we knew it, we were in love. On my 23rd birthday, we professed our love for each other.
Time only got us closer and made us fall deeper into love.
Last year, on our anniversary, he called me to his place. He told me he had cooked the dinner and set up the table for a romantic experience.
I left work early that day, went home, got fresh and put on a new top that I had recently purchased and went to his place.
He had indeed set up the place wonderfully. He told me he had a surprise for me. He took me to the bedroom. There was a big box on the bed. When I opened the box, I was surprised. There was Cute little puppy in it. It had a cute red bow around his neck. There was a small card in the box that read, “Here is your Bruno.”
When I turned around to thank Akshay, I saw him down on his knees. He was holding a ring. I was really amazed.
He said, ‘You are the most special thing in my life. I love each and every minute I spent with you. I want to grow old with you. You, Me, Bruno and little babies living together, laughing together, spending each and every ups and down together. I want to be with you till my last breath, and maybe even beyond. Will you marry me?”
I was in tears. It was the most beautiful thing. Of course, I said yes!"
