To get married in the Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge areas, you’ll need a Marriage License from Sevier County, Tennessee. Fortunately, this particular county makes getting information and applying for a marriage license rather convenient. Visit Sevier County’s official marriage license information page to begin the process of application and payment. Sevier County requires that both of you are at least 18 years of age, have valid driver’s licenses or birth certificates, social security cards, and valid passports if you are not United States citizens. You will not need to get blood tests or go through a “waiting period”, though you must solemnize (get married with an ordained minister or officiant) your union within thirty days of the issuance of your marriage license.

Residents of Tennessee are charged a fee of $101 for a marriage license (though $60 of this will be waived if the two of you take a premarital counseling course); non-Tennessee residents are charged a $41 fee.
