DC Travel and Adventure Show

Hudson and I attended the Washington DC Travel & Adventure Show today and absolutely LOVED it! Talk about having wanderlust…you can’t leave the show without having added a million new things to your bucketlist! :)

Take a look at this picture…there are literally 10+ full rows of travel and adventure-related exhibitors!

Our top 30 favorite exhibitors, that we plan to spend tonight learning more about, are Lancaster County Tourism (shoutout to our hometown!) / West Virginia Tourism / Maine Office of Tourism / Cape May County, New Jersey / Cove Haven Entertainment Resorts / Alaskan Dream Cruises / Alaska Heritage Tours / Florida Keys & Key West / Visit Tampa Bay / Philippines Department of Tourism / Celebrity Cruises / Nord Extreme Himalaya / Tourism Authority of Thailand / Tourism Malaysia / MSC Cruises / Panama Tourism Authority / Belize Tourism Board / St. Martin Tourist Board / LivItaly Tours / Aruba Tourism Authority / Jamaica Tourism / Bahamas Tourist Office / Dominican Republic Tourism Board / Antigua, Barbuda Tourism Board / Israel Ministry of Tourism / Gate 1 Travel / Down Under Endeavours / Silversea Cruises / Katarina Line – Incoming Croatia / Welcome Travels.

In addition to the exhibits, the Travel and Adventure Show has a rock climbing wall, segway rides, many other activities, and lots of speakers and arts & culture performances to enjoy! We had the opportunity to hear Phil Keoghan, host and co-executive producer of The Amazing Race, share about living for NOW (No Opportunity Wasted)! We also heard Jeff Greiff, the founder of Travel Squire, share helpful travel planning tips – like clearing your cache before searching for flights, because otherwise the airlines might track you as a previous visitor and not show you the lowest rates. Woah…even that tip alone would make the show worth attending!

We’ve always heard that the Travel and Adventure Show is an amazing experience, but it truly is. And it’s not too late to get tickets for tomorrow – if you’re in the area and love traveling too, definitely check it out!
