The night started on @ 17:30 hours - with the majority of the office fighting for the prime spot in front of the only decent mirror in the building. After a quick turnaround we headed off to one of our favourite Nottingham hen party bars - Revolution Hockley - to begin a night of revelry. On arrival we were greeted by Mitchell our host for the evening with a round of complimentary Cool Britannia inspired, Jammy B*stard cocktails (yes that is what they‘re actually called!), which were lush and made a great start to the evening.

As per any successful nights out we started with a good meal, to ensure we were suitably prepared for the night ahead (and the numerous cocktails that were sure to follow). Having pre-ordered beforehand from the venues new party menu, our food was served quickly and was absolutely De-li-cious!! The set party menus are a great option for groups and hen parties, offering a choice of tasty burgers, fish and chips (served in a bag!), halloumi flatbread, chicken and chorizo or vegetable linguine. Not to mention the desserts! Food was followed by a customary shot paddle (and a few more cocktails) before we went on to check out one of Nottingham’s newest chic late night venues RED Bar & Lounge.

From the moment we arrived we were treated like true VIP’s, gaining entry via the exclusive VIP RED Door - they had even rolled out their RED carpet for us, v. glam! There was a reserved area awaiting our arrival and we were not disappointed with their array of cocktails, bombtails and shotails that were perfectly crafted and reasonably priced. The bar team were lovely and made sure we were well looked after throughout the night. The live DJ was fab, playing a selection of easy to dance to tunes. Too easy to dance to! I (who was supposed to be having a quiet night!) found myself – albeit a little tipsy – ripping up the dance floor, unable to tear myself away for the duration of the night!

It’s safe to say our new joins fully enjoyed their official welcome and I’m sure there were a few sore heads Saturday morning (self-included). We look forward to many fantastic party nights out to come as we like to make sure that the venues which we use are perfect for our hen parties - After all, we are the UK's No.1 Hen Party Company!
