5 Places to get your sugar fix on your Hen Party in Brighton

What could perfectly compliment a bunch of excitable girls, heads full of weddings and romance, glasses topped up with tipples and giggles aplenty? Sugar of course! We all know it’s the stuff us fairer sex were made of (along with spice and all things nice!) So once you have your Hen Party city – Brighton chosen, hen party activities sorted and your fancy dress theme agreed on you’ll be searching for the best of Brighton’s sweet treat establishments to get your sugar fix. We give you our top 5 places to pick up an edible delight!

Choccywoccydoodah

So good they got their own TV show on the Good Food Channel – belonging exactly in that category – good food. Their creations look out of this world fantastic with their tattoo-like, fairy-tale inspired super cakes and bakes all covered in delicious chocolate. They taste amazing too! Find them in Meeting House Lane, where they always have a fantastic window display on their latest designs as well as a boudoir of everything chocolatey and fabulous. If you’re feeling really choco-cheeky you’ll want to check out their Bar du Chocolat for a sit down drink and chocolate bite to eat!

The Tea Cosy

As kitch as your ever going to get, this quirky tea room in George Street is simply obsessed with all things royal and British. Filled to the brim with both an impression collection of memorabilia and amazingly tasty cakes and sweets! Enjoy one of their aptly named royal Afternoon Tea’s amongst the most uniquely interesting surroundings.

The Marwood Coffee Shop

Claiming to serve ‘kick arse coffee’ alongside ‘life changing cake’ – that’s a pretty big statement to make but we assure you one of complete substance. A bit zaney and a lot wackey this popular coffee shop in Ship Street promises quite the dining experience. Mismatched décor, vintage bric a brac and re-purposed junk, why would you not want to sip your mid-morning pick me up and devour a massive slice of cake in such an environment?!

Roly’s Fudge Pantry

Winner of countless taste awards since its establishment over 30 years ago Roly’s Fudge Company now has over 30 stores throughout the UK. Once you’ve tasted the crumbly, creamy fudge at Roly’s you’ll see why all these locations have been so accepting. Fudge is made on site 363 days a year! Grab some traditional flavours as well as the more unusual such as Indian Chai and Bhagsu Cake.

Cloud 9

It’s pretty easy to understand how this place got its name – after you taste its yummy cake slabs and delicious cupcakes this is exactly where you’ll be – Cloud 9! There are two stores nestled in Brighton’s Lanes area with more than just cakes on offer. Original Cloud 9 homemade ice cream, waffles, milkshakes as well as hot drinks are produced on the premises – so pop in, sit down or takeaway your own special sweet treat!
