Engagement season is officially upon us, and that means newly engaged couples are busy filling their Pinterest boards with everything from Save the Date invite ideas, to wedding dress inspiration and everything in between. But before that gorgeous Ring lands on your pretty little finger, we bet you had a secret Pinterest board filled with some pretty great ring-spiration.  Pinterest is a useful place to learn about engagement rings and your engagement ring style. Not only is Pinterest a great place to peruse a plethora of stunning engagement rings, but it’s also the starting point for emerging trends based on the number of pins an image receives. As the year comes to an end, Daily Mail has reported the most pinned ring on Pinterest for 2017 to date.

So what was the most pinned ring of 2017 you ask?  According to Daily Mail, the most buzzed about engagement ring was pinned by owner Sylvia Billonerose and it was pinned a whomping 104,000 times. Billone revealed to Daily Mail that the Art Deco style ring was a custom 1.22 karat ring with a two-millimeter-width rose gold band, and she took inspiration for her ring straight from pins she had seen on Pinterest. This round solitaire ring also features a coordinating vintage-inspired wedding band with milgrain around the smaller diamonds. The engagement ring and wedding band together are nothing short of beautiful and this vintage design proves that less really is more.

We even reached out to Brilliant Earth to see if they noticed any popular ring trends of 2017, and they agreed, that “2017 was all about rose gold…[and] twisted and woven silhouettes continue to be on trend.” The most pinned engagement ring on Pinterest definitely fits the bill for what many were looking for in an engagement ring this year.
