Opulence at a Winery Wedding Inspo with Dark Colors

Have we got a standout shoot for you all today. This wedding inspiration from the lens of J. M. Hunter Photography has astounding landscapes, fashion to die for (oh hey, velvet burgundy dress!), and decor styling and floral details from Kameo Flower Shop you wouldn’t believe until you scroll on down.Taylor’d Events Group concocted this grand idea and brought the romantic shoot to life at the stunning Cave B Inn. The day was overcast and it added to the moodiness of the design, but was beautifully punctuated by the pops of pinks, reds, and greens scattered anywhere that stayed put. A lovely contrast indeed and absolutely perfect hues and styling for the season we’re living and loving in!From the planner and designer, “With wine serving as the inspiration, this romantic shoot incorporates a bold color palette with opulent, elegant details for maximum impact. Black, burgundy, gray and rose gold came together for a moody yet classy vibe that played out perfectly at the winery venue.”An invitation designed by Bespoke Strokes Calligraphy truly set the tone for this moody affair.”The goal was to create a shoot with a non-traditional look, so a black bridal gown and burgundy “getaway” dress took the place of the usual white attire.””With floral designs that were bursting with pinks, reds and greens, it added the perfect pop against the otherwise dark hues of the couple’s wardrobe.”Dreamy, jaw-dropping, and all kinds of romantic, this all black wedding dress from French Knot Couture is nothing short of amazing. And how perfect (plus perfect for Halloween) is this place setting with the rose gold flatware, black dinnerware, and slate place cards accented with calligraphy?Cort Party Rental and Mason Jars & Lace Wedding & Event Rentals provided all of rentals for this day….while catering  was provided thanks to Nana Kate’s with a dreamy textured cake design by Christie’s Cakes. Hair by Wildflower Stylehouse was perfectly styled as was makeup by Studio 16 Salon & Spa…”As an added bonus, the earthiness of the season’s landscapes and the overcast weather added just the right amount of moodiness into the shoot to complement the chosen color palette.”Plus how dapper was this groom in this suit from Menguin?Huge hugs and high fives to this talented team of wedding pros. Such a hauntingly beautiful scene and one that deserves all the likes over on pinterest, instagram, and facebook too! Care to join us?Photography: J. M.
