Bring the same size heel you expect to wear at the wedding.
Don’t skip looking checking out “on-the-rack” stores, outlet stores or wedding shows. You could find the dress of your dreams and save a loads of money.
Take home a fabric swatch (cutting) to match with your shoes and accessories.
If you feel you’re most beautiful in a dress, then buy it! No matter what style of wedding you are having or how long before your wedding – you are shopping, if you feel beautiful in it you will stand out on the day.
When you actually go to a store, unlike other clothing stores, wedding stores might not have the dresses in your size. You may be making a decision based on a dress which is too large or too small. Try clips in the back and try to imagine how the correct size will look, it would save an embarrassment on the D-day
If finances are really an issue, try an option to rent a dress. This can be a far more affordable way to get yourself a fantastic dress (for the day). Tough make sure the cleanliness of rented dresses.
Just remember that in the end, it’s your wedding, and you can do what you want.
