Aside from the first kiss, the first Dance is a highlight of any wedding. Not only is it the moment at the reception where you’re official introduced as Mister and Missus, it’s a moment that will have your loved ones cooing around you as you and your beau are happily locked in each others’ arms. For some, the first dance may be intimidating — reminiscent of those middle school-dance days of awkwardly, rigidly holding one another and circling aimlessly while a bunch of eyes are on you, but it doesn’t have to be.

First dances are about embracing each other and embracing the moment, but they can also be a reward for your family and friends. Put on a show that will get everyone smiling and laughing like these sweethearts and their sweet moves!

This 2006 video is a classic. This is the first surprise wedding dance video I’ve ever seen, and arguably the first one that went viral. Granted, almost ten years later maybe the popping and robot moves aren’t the best, but the novelty sold it! They totally caught me off guard switching back and forth from the “Blue Danube.”

Here’s a couple that got the whole party involved.  What starts off as a cute twirl around the floor between the bride and Groom ends up being a large performance with bridesmaids and groomsmen alike! Dance battle!

Video game junkies, this one is dedicated to you. This Super (Mario) first dance won’t disappoint. Guests were thrilled with power mushrooms, Goombas, Koopa Troopas, Wario and other characters tossed in for this fun-filled show. Will the groom get his Princess Peach back?
