What’s not to love about London? It is brimming with things to do and see from quirky, hidden cocktail bars to pop up cinemas as well as your classy hen party ideas such as tea at the Ritz or feeling royal at Buckingham Palace. You’ve even got six fabulous zones to explore with electric central London, the sophisticated South and even the hipster East End.

London is the city that never sleeps, so make sure to prepare yourselves for all of the food and drink that is just raring to be consumed, bring concealer for your tired eyes and don your sparkling heels ready to strut (and maybe a pair of walking boots for getting from A to B!) Prepare yourself for the hen party of a lifetime in the big city where you’ll drink Cosmos for breakfast and dance until you hit the deck.

We are the party experts and have put together our unusual hen party ideas and ‘must sees’ for your time in London. But make sure to plan, plan, plan down to the nitty gritty and make sure you get to see the capital city at its finest…or, better yet, just follow our guide.

10am – Start the day as you mean to go on…

Shop, shop, shopping! Is retail therapy your favourite past-time? Why not visit some of London’s famous shopping districts and experience the varied and exciting shopper’s paradise of the big city. Within the heart of the capital you’ve got the famous Oxford Street which is homed to over 300 shops including designer outlets and landmark stores including Selfridges, John Lewis and Primark’s huge flagship store.

Or you could dabble in a little luxury and head to Bond Street and Mayfair for the big names such as; Louis Vuitton, Tiffany & Co and fashion store Browns. You never know you may even bump into a celeb or two for a selfie opportunity. Or maybe you fancy something a little unique and different? Explore Covent Garden for unique gifts, vintage fashion and one-off handmade jewellery. Also, not forgetting the likes of Regent Street, Westfield Shopping Centre, Carnaby Street and Knightsbridge to name a few. What better place to indulge in a bit of shopping?

You’re drinking: Coffee to help with those tired eyes! It’s still early after all…

You’re wearing: Nothing about shopping in London is casual. So smart shopping attire, probably heeled boots, jeans and that expensive jacket you had to keep a secret from your mum.

12pm – Things to do, people to see…

The beauty of visiting London for your hen party is the diversity of attractions and activities. Whether you fancy yourself as a bit of a tourist and can’t resist the likes of The London Eye for the views, Madame Tussauds for some wax work celebrity spotting or London Dungeons for thrill seeking. There is literally something for everyone.

Maybe you feel like doing something a little different for your hen party in London… give one of its popular pop-up events a whirl, including a super quirky Backyard Cinema with jungle theme. Unless you’re feeling creative? Chocolate Making is taking London by storm so head to this workshop and create your very own chocolate factory. You can make unique fresh cream truffles in whatever shape you like and decorate them with an array of beautiful decorations. If this tickles your fancy, head to www.ukgirlthing.co.uk.

You’re drinking: Some sort of super food smoothie you’ve picked up on a pop-up stall in the attempt to be healthy and fit into that ever-so-tight bodycon later.

You’re wearing: Comfies. Making your way around London in anything less than snug is a chore.

2.30pm – Fabulous Dahhhling…

Everyone is dressed to the nines after spending hours on their hair and make-up in the big city, so if you can’t beat them, join them! You’ve got every type of experience you can dream of in the big smoke from Afternoon Tea on a Bus to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory inspired Afternoon Tea. Or maybe you want a little break from shopping and being pampered in Covent Garden. Head to the iconic Browns Bar & Brasserie for a 3-tiered feast of delicious finger sandwiches, bitesize cakes and sweet treats all washed down with a freshly brewed pot of tea – or a cheeky glass of champagne if you’re starting early! What better way to get in the mood for the night ahead, hey girls?

You’re drinking: Some sort of cocktail. Probably a Long Island Ice Tea. It tastes potent and fruity. You’re definitely going all in.

You’re wearing: You’ll have tried on every single outfit you brought with you at this stage. You decided on the first.

8pm – The show must go on…

Embrace your sultry side and visit Café de Paris for one of their themed burlesque shows. Watch in awe as you see the weird and the wonderful unfold in front of your eyes. You’re drinking: Anything alcoholic to give you the Dutch courage to speak to these amazing specimens.

You’re wearing: The outfit with the most cleavage. The highest shoes. The shortest skirt. Dressed to impress for sure.

10pm – Get down tonight…

Maybe you and the girls are feeling a little hot under the collar after seeing all that thrusting action and want to cool down? Jump in a black cab and get yourselves to the Ice Bar London for a shot or two served in an ice glass. Even the walls, bar and tables are made out of ice! Too cold for you? Don’t worry you will get a coat to make you feel like a real Eskimo ready to take on temperatures of -5 degrees!
