If you are stuck trying to figure out what your “something blue” will be, I’ve got some ideas for you A common something blue is the garter so if you want something different, read on!
- Nail polish – a subtle shade like pastel blue would be nice for a manicure or a bold royal blue pedicure would look pretty
- Shoes – traditional bridal shoes are out, different coloured shoes are in… So why not make it a blue one? Remember Carrie’s blue Manolo’s? Maybe not those but I’m sure you can find something similar for cheaper :p
- Jewelry – how about a sapphire brooch or a ring or even earrings?
- Underwear – just make sure it won’t show through your dress
- Fascinator or headpiece – if you’ve got a peacock theme, a peacock feather headpiece can also be your something blue, even some blue gems on a comb or headband can be nice
- Bouquet – wrap your bouquet with a blue ribbon, add a blue charm or even use blue flowers
- Contact lenses – if you’re into fashion contacts, why not turn your eyes blue for the wedding
- Eyeshadow – do you dare wear blue on your lids on your wedding day?
- Purse – do you have to walk down the aisle with your something blue? If not, this is a good choice!
