I am not ready

I don’t want to deal with it
But Karma has said

Do I really have to do this
But life says

Where is the empathy
You forgot to have
When you were the one
Exercising your selfish
Wants, needs and desires

Where was my empathy
When I was the one
Screaming in angst
Over the actions you so
Carelessly pursued

So what I am to do now
Do I empathize
Console
Pray
Encourage
