They bonded over similar interests; both the bride and groom played water polo, loved surrealist Salvador Dali’s art and had parents that were the mayors of their respective cities. They moved up to Los Angeles shortly after and continued to date while Erin attended medical school. Patrick planned a beautiful and sentimental proposal to Erin, overlooking the ocean in Palos Verdes, CA. A surprise engagement party planned by Patrick and the Mother of the Bride, where both families and friends gathered to celebrate the occasion, followed the proposal. The thoughtfulness and care that went into that day is characteristic of Patrick’s love for Erin. Erin and Patrick planned a beautiful and elegant ceremony held at the Ebell Club of Long Beach in June 2017.”

“Cream, pale blush, and gold only served to accent the stunning vintage decorations and foliage offered at this historic venue constructed in 1924. The event was black tie optional with Patrick playing the part in a chic midnight blue tuxedo from Indochino and Erin in a beautiful, backless chiffon dress crafted by Truvelle Bridal and purchased from Love and Lace Bridal salon. Live acoustic guitar, custom vows, and a romantic first kiss kicked off the evening, as guests then enjoyed delicious appetizers and cocktails from Tres LA catering. After an incredible buffet dinner and thoughtful toasts from both the Bride and Groom’s families the couple and their 120 wedding guests enjoyed an evening of non-stop dancing. Guests raved about the DJ, Tessa Young from Prism DJs, and the beautiful atmosphere provided by the venue. The venue’s stunning lighting and decorations were captured beautifully by photographer Alexandra Wallace, who is based in San Luis Obispo, CA. The couple agrees, it was truly the best day of their lives!
