How ironic it is for me to tell myself I have to choose myself (yea, there’s a lot of self words in this post) while having this cute sticker masking my pretty face?
It takes a looong time to make something a habit. Some people say 21 days or 30 days is enough. I don’t know if it’s effective for anyone who’s interested but I think I’m gonna have to try.
A part of me says it’s just a stupid set of challenges I won’t finish. That it’s just another list of to-dos because I am bored. A part of me cheers I should and could do this, and I believe I really need to do something in my life that could help me , at least personally.
Self-love writing prompts. I wanted to do the self-reflection list, but upon scanning the items, I thought that thinking about those would be a big challenge instead of just being cool with myself. I did reflections all the time, and it’s often more annoying than of help. So yes, a set of self-“love” Writing Prompts was a better choice. It’s like a gratitude journal or similar but more focused to one’s self. Which is nice, makes me appreciate things more.
Physical self-care. Daily routine I need to have a better day (hopefully).
- Daily 2km (at least) jog/walk.
- Stop smoking!
- Yoga & home workout for at least 30mins daily.
- Drink less coffee. (Please.)
- Time for bed is 10pm, girl.
Happiness challenge. A list of tasks I haven’t done or experienced yet. You need to get up and do new things, May!
- Create a Happy Songs playlist. Not necessarily with a happy lyric, but those that soothes you most.
- Sing. Out loud.
- Enjoy the rain and get wet. *winks*
- Complete a 21k single run.
- Disconnect from the online world for a week.
- Complete writing a song.
- Register to a travel event as a joiner and make new friends.
- Cry. Hard. Long. Even if it takes you a whole day. Let go.
This is more of a personal goal, but I am hoping you can join me and share your experiences as well. Ivo live, humans!
