Earlier this week, I shared a Valentine’s Day look, but why stop there? Here are more Valentine’s Day Outfit ideas, with the caveat that you don’t have to wear them in a romantic context. These are outfits I’ve worn in the last year that have made me feel confident and feminine, in an empowered way. They’d be great on date night, but they’d also work for a night out with friends. You do you, dear readers! Some thought starters…
Turtleneck dress and boots
Chances are it’s pretty cold where you live, so this winter-friendly take on the classic LBD addresses that. (Pun intended.) If it’s extra frigid, I’d recommend layering in a pair of black tights.
OUTFIT DETAILS: Everlane cashmere turtleneck dress | Vintage Dior bag | Jambu Chai boots (c/o)
Leopard coat and LBD
Another winter-friendly solution—and another LBD—this look was inspired by one of my style icons, Kate Moss. The thigh-high boots definitely dial up the sultriness, and the leopard faux-fur jacket straddles the line between sexy and sophisticated.

Gray and pink
At first glance, this outfit looks a little more casual—the long pink cardigan definitely ups the cozy factor—but the dress hugs your curves like nothing else (I recommend ditching the cardigan at key romantic moments). Side note: I’m selling both the dress and the cardigan on Poshmark at the moment—make me an offer!
Sweater and sparkly skirt
If you want to go for a little more rock-and-roll on Valentine’s Day, here’s a way to do it: with a ‘90s-inspired cropped cashmere cardigan, sparkly skirt, leather moto jacket, and badass boots.
OUTFIT DETAILS: Banana Republic moto jacket | Naadam cardigan | Isabel Marant skirt | A.P.C. bag | Chloé boots (also here)
Red leopard
Red is a powerful color and one that I tend to wear sparingly, however I love this dress and how sexy it feels, in spite of the fact that the cut is rather conservative (and comfortable). This was last year’s most-read post for a reason!
