Winter truly brings out the casualness in me, and my go-to look most days consists of a Sweater, jeans, and sneakers. So it's fitting that this month's most-pinned look from my Outfit Ideas for Ageless Style Pinterest board is just that. Granted, it's a very stylish take on the basics, but it's a totally easy look to re-create, so let's do it.

This look is mostly about the sweater, and finding the perfectly oversized one can be a challenge. I suggest hitting the men's department, then going up an extra size or two in this merino wool Vince sweater, as it's still on the fitted side and you want it extra roomy.


You know I love wearing white jeans in winter, but these are actually an off-white, or winter white if you will, which makes them just that much more unique. My go-to jeans, as regular Cheryl Shops readers know, are Frame Le High Straight, and these are just the right shade (and shape).

I am fairly certain the person in the photo is wearing Vans Sk8-Hi sneakers, but a white pair with a black (or gray?) stripe is nearly impossible to find, so I've linked an all-white version. You could always color in the stripe with a Sharpie!
