For the first time this season it feels like winter here in Northern California. So, coats and boots are top of mind right now. I have two gorgeous finds in this week’s round up. I also want to share a couple of recent purchases I’m loving: a wear-everywhere minimalist dress at an outstanding price and a sleek neutral nail polish that feels super modern.
Check out all of my favorite finds for the week…
1. RACHEL Rachel Roy Sydney High-Low Dress,
New theory: RACHEL Rachel Roy is the most underrated label at the mall. I tried on this dress on a whim while birthday shopping with my bestie in Denver. It fit like a dream and had a modern minimalist vibe that was more than a little reminiscent of Helmut Lang. I thought it was a steal at $99.00, but at this sale price…seriously, don’t pass this up!
2. M.Gemi The Momento Boot, $448.00
The older I get, the more I gravitate towards lower heels for everyday wear. But, ugh, they can look so dowdy. This boot manages to rock a walkable kitten heel without sacrificing an ounce of downtown-chic style.
3. Essie Baby’s Breath Nail Polish,
After three rounds of gel polish in shades most easily described as blood red, darker than blood red, and black, I needed a change. So, at this week’s mani appointment I stole a page from the royal nail grooming playbook and opted for a clean neutral. This creamy white shade has just enough of a beige-pink undertone to not look like White-Out. It’s a new favorite.
4. Olaplex Hair Protector, $28.00
Word is on the street this product is how those raven-haired starlets maintain gorgeous platinum blonde hair color without looking like they have a head full of broken straw. I haven’t taken the platinum plunge yet, but I’m filing this away for future use.
5. COS Belted Wool Coat, $350.00
COS remains my top choice for finding gorgeous clothes that look way more expensive than they are. This rich burgundy coat is 100% wool, and available at an excellent price. It will add instant luxe to any winter ensemble.
