Capsule wardrobe

Calling all the minimalist all over the world and their Capsule Wardrobe but also all the people who would like to give a try.
For who is not familiar with the term: it refers to a well thought out collection of clothing that is composed of interchangeable items only, usually "key" or "staple" items in coordinating colors, to maximize the number of outfits that can be created. Susie Faux, owner of a London boutique called "Wardrobe", invented both the phrase and the concept of “The Capsule Wardrobe” back in the 70s, she is a great believer that women require less quantity, more quality.
If you want to create your capsule wardrobe with clothes, accessories and shoes that you have already in the closet here the magic 7 rules.
1) The inventory. Make a list of which kind of items you think you will need.
2) The number of pieces. A capsule wardrobe is normally around 24 items per season, which can be mixed and matched to create a wide variety of outfits.
3) Choose a colour scheme. It's better to choose one or two base colours that go with everything, and one or two accent colours, which are brighter than the base colours, and co-ordinate with each other.
4) Choose classic shapes and patterns. Try to select cuts and patterns with no "expiration date". The capsule wardrobe supposed to be kept for different years so classic is always better.
5) Choose high-quality fabrics. Do you want to look like an homeless in a couple of years?
6) Now the most important rule: empty your closet and lay all your dresses out on your bed. Choose the pieces that you love most and put them back in the closet.
7) Sort each item into one of these three piles. To help you select your dresses divide them into: love it (follow suggestion 6), Maybe (did you pay them a lot? Are you sentimentally linked to them? Put all of them in a box and store it), No Way (donate them, swap with friends, sell them in one of the hundreds second hand wechat groups).
Of course the selection has to be done according to the season.
