Babble...

So here's the thing...

Sigred's been posting quotes with her Ecuadorian pictures for the last x number of years, and...

...now, quite frankly, she's getting tired of it.

A previous blog, Planet Irony, often to pretty much always, had babble written by a couple named Brian & Shelley.  They too had a little dog, but her name was Fredi.  That blog found an end in December of 2010, and coincidentally TNCNNA started up then too.

There's a story there, but one that may never be told.

In addition, there's the Bossy & Selfish cartoons, starring another Princess... or maybe the same one? Who knows?  Do you know?

In any case, there are some good quotes inside the entirety of this blog -- some of them even Sigred's -- and more quotes will come after this posting as well, but...

...the thing is, you see, TNCNNA has always been set up to continue posting (not every day mind you) for three years beyond it's today date.  This was an agreement that Sigred came to with her oldest daughter, when her oldest daughter found out Sigred was posting ahead.

"Oh!  It'll be too creepy to keeping seeing posts come up after you've passed." Oldest daughter  explained to Sigred.

"OK" Sigred reluctantly agreed.  "How far ahead can I post then?"

And an agreement was made after some pretty intense negotiations.  Thus people, there'll be a three year period, towards the end of which, TNCNNA posts will start getting spotty, instead of every day -- and then some time after that all TNCNNA posts will stop.

Is Sigred dead?  Has she been sick for 3 years?  Did her fingers fall off?  Has she finally and completely lost her mind?  Etcetera, etcetera, etcetera.

                  Who cares?
In any case, the pictures in this blog are all from Sunday drives within a hour of Cuenca.  Some up into the Cajas, some behind Turi into the hills.

It got to the point where Fred & Sigred were spending so much time trying to decide where to go for their next Sunday drive, that they drew up a list of eight favourite drives, plus a Mystery Drive, plus 2 blank lines in case a Mystery Drive produced another favourite drive, and started doing these drives in rotation.

In the Cajas they have two favourite places to stop where Princess can run around like a total maniac, off leash, breathing air so fresh it's exhilarating.  Sigred snaps pictures of foliage, blossoms, the grand sky and, of course, the breathtaking mountains.

Fred does the driving, points out vistas when destination are arrived at, keeps a wary eye on both Sigred & Princess's wanderings, and dreams Fred dreams, of water & sky & life's eternal mysteries.

Occasionally, wild llamas, deranged fishermen, insightful birds, and other such delights are also spotted.

So... this blog will be publicly posted 29 months from the day it was written.

Sigred has a system* to her posts, which she understands, and anyone with a good math mind and pattern perceptions, could probably figure out.

But, again... who cares?

Just so you know....

◔̯◔  - And here's a PS almost 29 months later, but before this blog is posted:
            Here it is:

NEVER MIND!

* Note:  All individual postings without at least some original content from the author(s) of Tncnna are deleted after a designated period has gone by. In addition -- recipes are all dated in 2008 -- a device simply to keep them all together and easily moved (if need be).
