Every parent that has a religious background looks for a bible that will hold the interest of our children.  We research and research until we either lose our ability to find the right one or get irritated at the ones that we do find. NIV Adventure Bible: Polar Exploration Edition is one that is very unique for our children and will help them to learn from.  It will hold their attention! This book is very colorful and has images too.  The site that it lists on the back, AdventureBible.com has free games and activities! The illustrations are absolutely amazing!  They are so detailed and very well drawn.  These illustrations look like they were painted.  I love the cover because it is so well done and the polar bear is the cutest thing.  It’s so much like the Polar Bear Express. I am a huge lover of wolves.  I’m pretty sure the wolf on the spine of the book is my all time favorite, more than the polar bear!  The illustrator of this book is very good about the things that he’s put into this.  I’m very impressed.  Not to mention that it now matches the header here on the blog! (I just redone the blog and had the hosting changed.) Each part of the Bible has many wonderful “Life in Bible Times” parts on pages.  The words are easier for them to understand and follow.  For some, it can also read like a normal book if they can’t understand the “thou”, “art” and words such as that.  I know that personally, even I have a hard time with that.  My brain just doesn’t comprehend that.  That might be why I was not very good with Shakespeare. There are so many wonderful benefits to this Bible for younger children (even myself, if you want to get a little more technical).  I do recommend this for families that have children or teens that have issues with reading a normal Bible.  I recommend it for adults that have the same issues as myself with the words that are in the King James version of the Bible.     Disclosure:  This is not a sponsored post.  All thoughts are my own and no others.  There has been no other compensation.  This post is now in the guidelines of the FTC.
