The Heart-Warming Goodness Enveloping  of the Peoples' Convoy: "Renaissance not Revolution"

Tags: convoy

As readers of AMERICA: The Blog may've noticed, I suffer from a terminal case of Pathological Optimism. Like fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg's mother who survived Auschwitz and yet only saw Good everywhere for the rest of her life, I survived an epic personal battle for Freedom, still with my Pathological Optimism intact. So if you arrived on my site looking to dig up dirt on the People's Convoy, Honey, you're in the wrong place cause there ain't any!

Remember how wonderful Ottawa was at the  height of their Freedom Convoy? My friend, "D," who danced on the frozen streets of Ottawa every weekend during their Convoy, described it as a "Vortex of Love." Even via livestream, you could feel the joy, the love, the determination in every soul to be peaceful and impeccable. Everyone in Ottawa and watching livestreams from around the world were drunk on Liberté! Liberté! Liberté!

Well, my fellow Americans, our Canadian brothers and sisters have nothing on us! Just one week after setting up housekeeping at the Hagerstown Speedway, our Convoy has come together with a wonderful vibe proving we passionate Americans just as joyful, just as loving, just as patient, peaceful and impeccable as our True North kindred. Maybe there's a little less dancing in Hagerstown but hey! It's an older, more arthritic crowd...but I'm sure a bouncy castle is on the way. (Hint! Hint!)

This article is a compilation of just a few of the heart-warming, lump-in-throat inducing tales flowing out of Hagerstown. So fetch a box of tissues cause you're gonna need 'em.

Our story begins with a four-year-old boy who donated his allowance, four quarters, to the truckers. Click the thumbnails below to read the whole story and if you don't have tears running down your cheeks then you're made of sterner stuff than I am!

Tales from GreyWolfRon

Yesterday, the grandfatherly white-bearded trucker who met with Senators Cruz and Johnson last week, Ron Coleman, spent an hour with trucker/livestreamer, Sasnak. The tales he told were so heartwarming.

The family who came over to say "hello" during one of the Convoy's stops as they drove cross country. Ron said the wife reached out to shake his hand and it was like electricity struck her. She burst into tears and was sobbing so hard, her knees buckled. So Ron caught her only to look up and see her husband was also in tears, close to collapse. So Ron caught him too and held them in a double bear hug.

The dam broke. Two years of being worried sick for the future of their three children...children the Evil Powers-That-Be want to jab with the "vax" (it's not!), brainwash to hate "racist" America (it's not!) and, as the coup de grâce, secretly convince that they're not really a boy, not really a girl. The anguish of the parents sobbing on Ron's shoulders is a burden silently carried by millions of good American parents, worried sick over the future of their beloved children.

Rachel who staffs the 24/7 Medical Trailer at the Convoy (because her career has been destroyed by jab mandates) told the Convoy the story of Ernesto Ramirez Sr., a single father, whose sixteen-year-old son took the Pfizer jab so he could play baseball. Five days later, Ernesto Ramirez Jr. dropped dead from myocarditis. Blessed be his memory.

Ron told of Americans greeting the convoy from the vantage point of raised bulldozer buckets while others cheered and waved Old Glory from cherry pickers. He told how the Navajo Nation welcomed the Convoy with open arms and an unforgettable meal of pulled pork, Indian fry bread...the whole smörgåsbord...and then sent them on their way the next morning with a blessing.

There was even someone riding a cow to greet the convoy. If that isn't quintessentially American eccentricity, I don't know what is!

Along the way, the Convoy picked up a lot of people who only intended the greet the Convoy...but couldn't tear themselves away.

The man whose parents wouldn't let him go to Woodstock in the '60s but by George! He joined the Convoy and his wife couldn't stop him. As he told Ron, "I can live without all the crap from WalMart. I can't live without Freedom."

The homeless lady who hitchhiked across the country with the Convoy with nothing but the clothes on her back.

Another lady who brought her husband to the Convoy "in a box." She couldn't think of a better place to spread his ashes than where America is rising for Freedom!

Eighteen-year-old Jauneil Brooks who raised himself after his parents died five years ago and joined the Convoy on a whim in California and two weeks later found himself speaking to Senators. WOW! Only in America, Baby!

The two homeless women, both with children, who joined the Convoy because they feel safe with them. The Convoy has rented a house for them but a call went out on Facebook for someone to donate an RV so these ladies can have a home on wheels.

And not a moment too soon either. Yesterday, Hagerstown was pelted with snow and the temp dropped to 19°F so Brian Brase and the truckers walked the entire Speedway area, and it's a big area, doing wellness checks on everyone sheltering in tents.

The families with children were shuttled to nearby warm hotels and it didn't cost them a dime.

The truckers pulling reefers turned the temp up and changed their trailers from rolling refrigerators to warm rolling sleeping rooms. Meanwhile, patriots from the Hagerstown area answered the convoy's plea when the firewood ran out. You don't exactly expect to see a soccer mom's minivan full of firewood but it was and the Convoy was grateful to have it!

"I started off doing this Convoy for my family
but my family just got a heck of a lot bigger."
~ Brian Brase

"We can't get Pelosi off her duff til her minions' phone lines and email are so MAXED OUT they can't work."
~ Ron Coleman

"[The Medical] Licensing Boards are rotten to the core. Lock them up...Lock them all the Hell up!"
~ Dr. Paul Alexander

That's the famous WWII flag I wrote about! It finally got all the way from Germany in WWII to Washington D.C.!

Just like in Ottawa, each patriot gives what is in their purview to give and thus all needs are met!

Yesterday, a trucker's wife made ninety-nine phone calls to politicians ...politicians who've already asked the Convoy to stop calling because their voicemails are maxed out. That's the Power of the People! Keep calling!

As Mike Landis, an ol' campaigner whose had much experience lobbying for truckers in DC explained, all we have to do to win is keep calling, keep the pressure on, continue to be a thorn in their side. This is a Renaissance of Freedom...not a Revolution.

The Evil Powers-That-Be are betting on the Convoy having less sticktoitiveness than they do. Well, they're in for a shock! This is going to be a long process and the truckers are prepared to stick it out. When one has to leave to go earn money, another will take their place. The Convoy's not going anywhere until the politicians get it through their thick, damn skulls that THEY WORK FOR US!

So to help the Convoy while away the hours when the weather is too inclement to drive the Beltway, someone donated boxes of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s book The Real Anthony Fauci. Someone else brought box upon box of free Bibles! Just a little light reading. (I need to read Psalms. Maybe King David can help me cope with Evil people suppressing Good People. Nothing ever changes.)

Another gentleman, Keith-with-the-white-Cadillac, brought what he had to give: his skill in helping vets successfully file Disability Claims. No charge.

Others are holding Bible Studies or preaching sermons while a lady goes 'round collecting dirty laundry and returning clean clothes. So simple and yet so kind!

My husband, a disabled former trucker, cherishes this patch on his jean jacket. He was SO proud when he got it!
If you recall, up in Ottawa the Patriots kept the streets impeccably clean by tying garbage bags every 25 feet and piling their garbage neatly on the boulevards, only to have the City of Ottawa refuse to pick it up. That's why my favorite patriot is the Hagerstown garbage man who empties the convoy's dumpsters for free. It's what he's able to give, so he gives it freely and happily. Today he got one heck of a cheer! Two cheers, in fact! Hip, hip, hooray!

If we all would give what is in our power to give, even if it's just the Widow's Mite, then this Convoy and indeed this nation's quest to retake our God-given Freedom will be a tremendous success. It doesn't have to be money. It can even be something as humble as an encouraging note, a blanket, four quarters, dumping the convoy's garbage pro bono or someone writing her flippin' giblets out to support the Convoy because the Conservative Media ain't doing it!

Or singing O Canada to one of the many Canadians who've come down to help our convoy by sharing their experiences, wisdom and publicity. That's right. The beautiful Canadian, Laura-Lynn Thompson, who covered the Ottawa Convoy visited Hagerstown and when Steve Spurgeon broke into a gorgeous acapella rendition of Laura-Lynn's national anthem, she burst into tears and so did I! We "stand on guard for thee," Canada!

Maybe it's just my Pathological Optimism talking, but it only took one week after landing in Hagerstown for our Convoy to "gel" and become just as wonderful as the Convoy in Ottawa. And I've got a gut hunch the People's Convoy is going to be an unbelievable success. This morning, Pennsylvania Senator (and candidate for Governor of PA) Doug Mastriano visited Hagerstown and gave a brief, but kick a$$ speech. Oh yeah! He pulled no punches about the 2020 Election being stolen from our beloved President Trump!

If, like me, you  want desperately to somehow help the convoy, here are some ideas:

  • Host Families: If you live anywhere near Hagerstown, volunteer to be a host family. It worked great in Ottawa!!! The truckers visited their host families once a day for a hot shower, fresh laundry, etc.
  • If you're a diesel mechanic, volunteer your services for free
  • Place an order to a local vendor to be delivered to the Convoy: a load of split firewood, pastries, pizza, catering, fresh flowers...a bouncy castle! I dunno. Be creative!
  • Bug the hell out of your Congressmen and Senators in DC. Ask them to visit the Convoy in Hagerstown. Invite them for a ride in a truck. At the very least, demand they meet with the Convoy's leadership.
  • Donate (afclf.org/donate-now/)
  • Write letters of encouragement
  • Run a local fundraiser
  • Share my articles to spread the truth about the Convoy. (Yeah, okay, okay. Shameless self-promotion.)
  • PRAY, PRAY, PRAY

Pray that, like Pharaoh, God will soften the heart of all the little pharoahs in DC and that He will protect the mid-term elections in November from cheating. Pray that President Trump will soon be restored to his rightful and righteous role as our President. Pray for the Convoy leaders, that they will be given wisdom, protection, solidarity, health and peace. Pray there will be no False Flags. Pray for their families who must miss them dreadfully. Pray for Protection against Pelosi and all her Evil Minions.

Most of all, pray the Convoy remains patient, united and peaceful. #trumptriumphant
