Gal Gadot’s stupendous introduction as Wonder Woman in Batman v Superman Dawn of Justice made me to reminisce other actresses who broke the backs of villains in recent times.

The advent of roles of Women as equally powerful as their male counterparts in recent times on the silver screen is making women feel proud and of course the feminist community would definitely long much to see such characters in coming years.

Last year, we had a terrific portrayal of Rebecca Ferguson as an MI6 agent who went Rogue alongside Tom Cruise In Mission Impossible 5 and Eva Green in 300 Rise of an Empire.

While Anne Hathaway’s feminine charm and insane clever strategies in the disguise of Cat woman has swept away the feet of Bruce Wayne, there was Gal Gadot yesterday in rescue of the Batman. I can’t resist myself to confess how much I loved Gal Gadot during the movie even though she appeared only few minutes. On the other hand, we have Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow who doesn’t need an introduction because we know that she is the woman who could make the incredible Hulk to calm down.

In this Hail Women context, I want to acknowledge a recent Sherlock episode on BBC, The Abominable Bride, which is noteworthy for reminding audience about the unity of women to respect womanhood. It was a great premise for the return of Moriarty.

Waiting eagerly for more such women characters to kick the asses of baddies.
