Most Beautiful Outdoor Wedding Venues In Boulder

If you have been scouring the internet for the perfect outdoor Boulder Wedding venue to say “I do,” you have come to the right place. There’s something about getting hitched in the great outdoors of Colorado  that is just so romantic. So to aid you in your search, we have compiled a list of five glorious and unique Boulder wedding venues to help ensure that your outdoor Colorado wedding is nothing short of fabulous.

Pastures Of Plenty

This Boulder wedding venue differs from most in that the Tawse-Davis family calls the 35-acre farm home, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t equipped with everything you need to get hitched—because believe us, it is!

For starters, primp and prep with your wedding party in the guest cottage to make your trip to the aisle mercifully short. Then say “I do” under the provided wedding arch while overlooking fields of beautiful flowers, and host your cocktail hour in the covered garden arbor, complete with vintage furniture, a gathering space, and a bar! For the reception, spend your big night wining and dining under the provided 1,500-square-foot tent. And after dinner, if you’d like to entertain your guests with a roaring fire, that’s okay—in fact, it’s encouraged, as there’s a bonfire pit at your disposal. The only requests from the family are that you respect a 10pm curfew for your event and keep the music at a respectable level.

Just ten minutes from downtown Boulder, the convenience is great, and with all of these amazing features, Pasture of Plenty is almost too good to be true.

Stone Mountain Lodge & Cabins

At Stone Mountain Lodge & Cabins, there is so much to love, it’s hard to know where to start. This rustic wedding venue just over a hour from Boulder offers five customizable wedding packages to choose from, and gives you and your fiancé the option to extend your wedding into a weekend celebration—just ask about availability of the lodge and cabins for you and your guests. (If you’d rather stick to a one-day event, that’s okay too.) The night before your wedding, you can rest easy in one of the six on-site cabins, and there’s enough room for your family and wedding party in the 15-room lodge as well.

On your wedding day, have your beauty squad come to you, and spend your morning in the bridal tent (which is more like a luxurious gathering room than a tent) getting ready with your mates! Once it’s time to say “I do,” take a stroll around the pond—with gorgeous views of the Red Cliffs—and down the aisle to exchange vows underneath the vine-covered arbor. Then enjoy some of the most amazing scenery Colorado has to offer as the backdrop for your newlywed photo session. Lastly, spend the evening celebrating under the provided reception tent—all dressed up with full lighting, carpeting, a built-in dance floor, and even chandeliers! How’s that for a fancy outdoor wedding venue?

Wild Basin Lodge

Set at the entrance to the Rocky Mountain National Park, Wild Basin Lodge is a nationally acclaimed Boulder wedding venue. There are two different (but equally gorgeous) outdoor ceremony sites to choose from: get married on the banks of the St. Vrain River, or in an Aspen grove surrounded by breathtaking mountain views. For your reception, the craftsmanship of each stone and wood reception room speaks for itself, but just in case you’re not impressed, there’s also an authentic Irish pub. It takes a little over an hour to get to Wild Basin Lodge from Boulder, but the drive is well worth it.

Spend your wedding night in luxury in the Copeland King Suite and wake up to gorgeous mountain views, and put up your wedding party and family in the five other available lodge rooms. This rustic wedding venue is available for weddings year-round, and depending on when you decide to get hitched, entertain your guests with fishing, hiking, horseback riding, wildlife spying, and even skiing. If all of this isn’t enough to enchant you, Wild Basin Lodge has declared itself “green” and is committed to using organic food and supplies as often as possible—score!

The Pines At Genesee

This three-acre mountain escape has everything you are looking for in a Boulder wedding venue. Their customizable packages allow you to choose services à la carte to create your wedding day for anywhere from 5-500 guests. When you book The Pines at Genesee, you automatically receive the “Pines Package,” which includes an event coordinator, set-up and take-down of your event, and the “staples:” tables, chairs, linens, china, glassware, and flatware. From there you can add on additional packages or opt for the “Romance Package,” which is the top of the inclusivity ladder. Not only that, but you have your choice of two romantic sites to hold your ceremony–the Aspen terrace or the Evergreen terrace.

Just a quick 45 minutes from Boulder, The Pines at Genesee is the perfect retreat from the city to host your outdoor wedding in Boulder.

Colorado Mountain Weddings At The Brooklyn Mining Company

At an elevation of 10,000 feet, find yourself surrounded by only the natural beauty of mountains on your wedding day at this all-inclusive venue that operated originally as a b&b. For reasons beyond all that fresh, dizziness-inducing mountain air, planning your wedding with Colorado Mountain Weddings is as stress-free as it gets. First off, a wedding planner is included, which will prove to be an invaluable asset in the months leading up to your big day. During your actual event, take as much time as you need to set up, then enjoy a catered rehearsal with appetizers followed by an included rehearsal dinner.

Later that evening, spend the first of two nights in the bed & breakfast with your wedding party. When you wake up on your wedding day, enjoy a complimentary brunch for you and your mates—can you say Belgian waffles and mimosas!? After brunch, spend some time relaxing in the private sauna before primping in the bridal suite with your bridesmaids. As your guests arrive, a parking attendant will greet them and direct them to the hostess, who will provide them with a bottle of water and answer any questions they may have. When it’s finally time to exchange vows, do so in a meadow surrounded by tall grasses (but don’t worry, there’s a perfectly groomed aisle to make your walk easy). Upon arrival at the reception tent, guests will receive a warm lavender towelette for freshening up before enjoying the open bar, unlimited appetizers, and gourmet dinner buffet. Guests can enjoy complimentary cigars at the bar, and as the ladies leave for the evening, each one will receive a single long-stem rose (swoon!) as a parting gift. When it’s time for the send-off, spend a second evening in the bed & breakfast with your new spouse and relax knowing that your wedding was nothing short of fabulous.

Roughly an hour from downtown Boulder, this all-inclusive outdoor wedding venue has literally everything you need for a wedding smash hit.
