This year’s 2016 Fort Lauderdale boat show proved one of the most successful in years for sales of used motor yachts for sale in Florida! Salesmen from the Atlantic Yacht & Ship team reported not seeing the docks this busy in several years. This year, we had 15 used motor yachts in our display. Furthermore, Thursday and Friday had the type of buyer activity that we usually don’t see on the weekend. Boats such as the new 86′ Sunseeker 2017, the 2003 100′ Hatteras, the 75′ Sunseeker, the 65′ Sunseeker had non-stop traffic throughout the show. Additionally, the Hargrave yachts we had on display in the show had buyers coming specifically to see them! Used motor yacht sales were very strong throughout.

“I’ve been working at these boat shows for 36 years,” says Joe Marino, President of Atlantic Yacht & Ship. “This was a great boat show. Overall, the traffic on Thursday & Friday was the best we’ve had over the past eight years. Moreover, we already have three boats under contract and expect more over the next few days. We are already signing boats for the upcoming Yachts Miami Beach event which we hope will be equally successful. This also indicates sales should remain strong in preparation for the holiday season”
