Justice League - Zack Snyder Cut

Yesterday, I was able to watch Zack Snyder's Justice League. It lasted for about 4 hours. I know that sounds quite tedious. But I assure you, it is worth it. The difference between director Joss Whedon's version and Snyder's cut is the storytelling.

Whedon shortened his version of the film by removing background stories of characters and events, such as that of the Flash, Cyborg, and the tale of the Mother Boxes. He replaced all these with a glancing pass and a peppering of humor. It is altogether not bad, however, what he did lacks depth.

Snyder, allows a fuller story to develop, stage by stage, with each one increasing the interest, tension, and excitement of the audience. His movie also provides not the happily ever after, ending but a preview of even more exciting things to come.

The effects of course could still use further improvement in this movie. But having seen both Justice League by Whedon and Justice League by Snyder, I would definitely have to say, that the latter did a better job.
