"B - U - C - K - E - T" in a loud high-pitched voice. This is how Dame Patricia Routledge's character Hyacinth, spells her last name but pronounces it the same as the word "bouquet."
Keeping Up Appearances, is a show that features a woman named Hyacinth Bucket and her vigorous Attempt to become the perfect hostess and to be recognized as a member of the aristocracy. Her attempts however, often lead to hilarious and witty misadventures. This show, has kept me practically falling over my seat with laughter during the prolonged uncertainty brought by the pandemic. This and the US show The Golden Girls, are definitely a staple in my book when it comes to shows that entertains with comedy.
