Come Tuesday, I'll be back on the saddle. I was informed yesterday, that I will be having a new project for La Consolacion College Manila's English as a Second Language Program. I am of course excited about it since, I haven't had any project for about two months now, I could sure use the income.

I am however, a little apprehensive, because I was told I would handle a large class, eighteen students to be exact. This is somewhat different from the format or setup that I am used to, because back then group classes are usually just eight or ten students per class. But there's a new administration, I have been told, and of course it goes without saying that there will be changes in the procedure and implementation of school programs.

On Tuesday, is my baptism of fire, because unlike before I usually get to meet my students and then have class. But this time, I will meet them and the moment I have been introduced, I'll proceed. Good luck to dear old me. I do not know why, but somehow my first day of any job is when I am usually subjected to the most difficult part, I mean some people have it easy on their first day. They usually finish their eight-hour day, without even doing anything, but that rarely happens to me.

Anyway, this is no different with all the other tough spot I have been on, I just need to survive the first day and the rest should go smoother.
