May is the summer month of the Philippines, this is when the temperature really soars, making almost every day a very warm and dry experience. Everyone is afraid of reeking, so usually people stay away from heavy perfumes. This is when this fragrance becomes perfect for the occasion.

Nautica Voyage was launched in 2006 and the nose or parfumier behind it is none other than the very talented Maurice Roucel. This fragrance combines the smell of fresh, woody, fruity and floral odors. It smells clean and refreshing.kind of like the skin after it has been washed with soap. This one is invigorating and one cannot really go wrong with this, especially if you are a man who is just starting to explore the fragrance world.

Performance wise people in the fragrance community say that the vintage bottle (metal cap) like the one I have (see photo) has better performance while the current formulation (plastic cap) is weaker. But to me, this does not stay very long on my skin projection is not very good either perhaps 10 to 15 minutes and then it settles close to skin, which is not bad if what you are looking for is a fragrance that is non-intrusive.

Another thing worth mentioning about this fragrance aside from the fact that it smells good and basically gets the job done, is that this is not very expensive. It will not bleed your wallet white, a full bottle via online retailer can be had for as low as 1,100 PHP. This only proves that one really doesn't need to throw around obscene amount of money to smell good.
