Bvlgari Man in Black

This is the very first fragrance I have tried from the House of Bvlgari. Man in Black was launched in 2014, and the parfumier behind this is Alberto Morillas. For those who do not who Mr. Morillas is, he is the man behind fragrances such as the iconic CK One by Calvin Klein, 212 Men by Carolina Herrera, Versace Pour Homme by Versace,  and Aqua Di Gio by Giorgio Armani just to name a few. So it goes without saying that Bvlgari Man in Black has been created by a very talented man.

Anyway, this fragrance came to my possession in 2015. The fragrance presentation is very handsome and classy. Black and gold theme and the silver sprayer could be twisted and locked. The concentration was in eau de parfum so I had high hopes in terms of performance but sadly it did not deliver.

The smell of this fragrance is warm, spicy, leather with a hint of booze, rum to be exact. On initial spray this comes off strong though I had stronger. Projection wise this did not give off a scent trail. On my skin it projected but only about arms-length, while the longevity is just a measly 4 to 5 hours maximum. Whenever I wear this fragrance I get the smell of freshly printed money, I don't know why. Compliment-wise I never got any while wearing this. My brother actually hated this fragrance, he thinks it's offensive.

This one is no longer in my collection as I traded it for a bottle of Passion by Elizabeth Taylor, which I have to say I love more than this one.
