Fahrenheit 32

I am back with another fragrance review, this time it is a flanker of Dior's famous fragrance for men called Fahrenheit, this flanker is called Fahrenheit 32.

If the you have had the chance to smell the original Fahrenheit which is very popular especially during the 80s, then you would have probably committed that fragrance to the smell of petrol, because there is something in it which gives off that gasoline - like smell. This flanker however, steered clear of anything to do with roughness and somewhat dirty in order to create a masculine scent.

For this interpretation of Fahrenheit, the House of Dior combined florals, vanilla, and some powdery notes. Some people in the fragrance community states that this resembles Jean Paul Gaultier's Fleur de Male. Performance wise, since this is in EDT concentration it lasts somewhere between 5 to 6 hours on my skin, projection is average for the first 30 minutes and then it gradually becomes a skin scent.

This fragrance gives off a hint of sweetness and some floral notes but it does not smell girly nor does this smell overly masculine. Though this is marketed for men, I believe this can be worn by both gender. Today this fragrance has been discontinued, but if you search online you might still be able to get a bottle.

I got this one for a very reasonable price from a friend in the fragrance community. Although this is not something that I would consider as a favorite, I would have to say it is good though I would wish the performance was better.
