We have found that the Somma Aire pumps have higher flow rates based on measurements we have made against the latest Select Comfort pumps.

Somma Aire air mattress sleep systems have a sophisticated, programable digital control system that allows the user to adjust the firmness level to the exact comfort level desired. Select Comfort's digital system, which does not measure actual back pressure on the pump, is not nearly as accurate or sophisticated.

The Somma Aire air beds use visco elastic memory foam in the 5 Star and 3 Star models, but unlike in a memory foam mattress, Somma Air users also enjoy the comfort and adjustability of air.
