Poet’s Corner – Women’s Words

Poet’s Corner – Women’s Words

[On Reading Mary Oliver, H.D., Emily Dickinson and Dorothea Tanning]

Walking the path of Poetic thoughts

Entering the Natural world

Marveling at its unique essence

In form, color and birth,

Capturing the seeds of words unspoken

To touch and feel

The growth of life as they appear,

Not to change

The natural course –

Wings of birds,

The tops of trees and moss overgrown.

The thread of time

Speaks clearly

In poetic voices

As women respond to the uniqueness,

 Taken inward and outward again.
